 DUKH SUKH SESSION 2 - APRIL 2019

GURU NANAK GURDWARA SMETHWICK.

The Heera Foundation’s second Dukh Sukh session took place at The Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Smethwick today. Powerful personal experiences were described relating to mental health conditions and where individuals and families have been bereaved by suicide. The energy within the Dukh Sukh forum resonates with all who attended today- listening to each other’s experiences, their bespoke therapies and coping strategies was moving and inspirational. Thank you to Cat, Kelly, Indi and Binnie for openly talking today and reinforcing that It’s Ok Not To Be Ok and with the right support and the belief that deep rooted emotions can pass, created hope and a sense of determination to break stigma even more 💎
